first floor job - advice needed!
«

hi guys,
have my first floor cleaning job on thursday, its domestic, kitchen/dining, hall, bathroom. They are regular ceramic tiles and the customer said they just need a good clean especially in the kitchen where the cooking is done needs a scrub; greasy, spillages on grout etc. What i am wondering is what product to use.. I am thinking (Prochem) Alkleen or Powerclean with a red pad?
Thanks...

hi i know of two products that you can use, i would use a taski energy, on the non kitchen floors, and a degreaser in the kitchen, nationwide do a good one, , and use a green pad as you will get more off especially in the kitchen.
thanx jonny
let castle take the hassle

thanks for your replies. I used Multi Clean Advance 240 with a green pad and then a maintainer to shine it up a bit.. did the job fine but the grout didnt come great.. the rotary pads dont get into the grout.. anyone know a good way to clean grout? was thinking maybe just brush the cleaner in with a stiff brush before using the machine

Hi
have a look at the video demo for the Steam Gun Pro -

it's brilliant for grout as well as other awkward areas.

I have found that high acid products ie something like citraclean works well - made by bio products. They actually now do a citraclean XL but I have not tried it yet. The advantage of this product is no chalky residue. I might also suggest a green pad, bit more workable. Enjoy!
