Pressure on DI vessels..????
«

Hi Guys, new to wfp and only use DI vessels due to low TDS in my area.
The question I have and would appreciate all your help on is, when I have seen pics of pro supplied systems they mostly all seem to include a pressure meter on the DI vessels, Should we be running water thru the DI vessels at a certain amount of pressure fo optimum results???
If so should I be looking to fit one in my system??
And what is recommend pressure?
Any help with this subject would be great, thanks guys.
Goochie.

gooch
I think you are mistaking a pressure meter for something else, i've never seen a pressure meter on a DI vessel. I could be wrong of course but i'm sure someone will correct me if so. It may be an in-line TDS meter that you've seen.
I'm sure that you'll never over-pressurise a DI vessel with the kind of pumps used for wfp. Your pump should cut out anyway if the pressure gets too high but i'm sure you've nothing to worry about.
A DI unit will purify water at the pressure a normal pump is capable of.

just to add to that goochie
I used to use my DI vessel direct from the mains with stop-end connectors on my pole so you'll definatley not have a problem with a 12V pump.
