If you purchased it through Cleantech then they should have been your first port of call anyway as your contract was with them for the supply of goods. Still at least  you got sorted. ;D

I'm really surprised to hear that about Omnipole.  I've always had top service from them.  I suppose it helps that they are only 20 miles away though.  I'm glad you got it sorted out in the end.

Omnipole are a great company with a very good reputation.

I suppose the hosereel just fell off all by itself (NOT)  ::)

You bought it from Cleantech so your contract is with them and not Omnipole. Its sorted out so why come on here and have a go at Omnipole? What did you expect them to do?

Darren
This is the first I have heard of the problem.

I will look at the hose reels we have in stock  to see if there is any problems with the others, as they are welded steel I am suprised their is an issue with them, but of course their could have been a fault with the welding on your one..

I dont think its unresonable for a member of our staff to ask for you to email a photograph, particularly as it can be done with a mobile phone these days"telling them were to go" isnt really a way to get anyone to be helpfull.
Obviously without a photograph we would have needed you to return the trolley - how else are we to see what the problem was?

I appoligise for the problem and I am pleased it is sorted out and will talk to Mike at clentech regarding this issue.

brightnclean,so are you telling me it was my fault it broke after 4 days also why i phoned omnipole was the picture on the website of the trolly it dosent say that the battery and the pump sit on the top of the trolly and they are not even enclosed theres wires out on the open it looks quite dangerous to me dont fancy using it if it starts raining. It was just buy luck i ordered it through cleantech and if i didnt i dont no the point in sending photos of something thats broke in this kind of work not got any time to go out and buy a camera then send pictures and then wait for a reply.

Darren
I really think the best thing is to return it to us, where we can sort out the problems for you.
You will need to pay the carrage back to us, but I will get a credit issued to you to cover this.

I cannot understand why their is a problem with the battery and need to see this.

I am now thinking the unit must have been damaged whilst be transported by the various courier companies, for a bolt to have damaged the battery and the hose reel completly broken sounds like it has been crushed or dropped.

glyn i dont think the trolly was damaged from the first day of using the hose reel it was really hard reeling it in and the handle on it wasnt very good when i picked it up from cleantech they said i might have bother with the hose reel. The new hose reel on it works great as for the battery its a bolt rubbing against it but its still working but will keep an eye on it.The rest of it is working fine it just suprised me that the pump and battery arent enclosed. darren

OOPs sorry. Its wrong to pinch other WC'ers work!!  lol

For your info Darren I have never met, had any dealings with or bought anything from Glyn or his company. I do know people who have though and they hold him and Omnipole in high regard.

It's all too easy to come onto forums and slate a company or it's products off as you have done. Whats with the problems now about where the battery and pump are? Sounds to me like you are a far more qualified person than Glyn or his staff at designing WFP trollies.  ::) or could it be that you didnt do your research properly  before making the purchase?

As to doing my research i done a search on here about the trolly but didnt find much out also imade a post about the trolly a month ago to see if anyone had one nobody replied.I think when you have pictures of a trolly on a website i think you should show it fully finished.Iam no expert on desighning trollys but i still think its dodgy putting the pump an battery and the wires on the top of it and not cover them were there exposed to the rain.As for the other problems Glyn if you email me your mobile number i will gladly take pictures of the battery and the lid that dosent close right with my mobile phone.ps used the trolly today cleaning an office with the new hose reel and its working great. darren

Well my wheel fell of my omnitrolley today, and its the second time this has happened. There is no point in me welding it as ive done this before and it doesnt hold, as the point where it keeps snapping takes a lot of weight.
now im not knocking omnipole as i like the omnitrolley, but however i do think it is a desighn fault and that the wheels are not strong enough to take the weight.
The people at omnipole are very helpfull but im not driving there to get another base again, so i guess the omnitrolley will just stay strapped to the sack barrow till i get an alternative machine.
