hi guys

          it seems that the main selling point of ms is that you only need a fresh water rinse,  but have any of you tried brushing in your standard chemical mixture then fresh rinsing?  i done this with prochems extaction pro and the results were no different  to when i extact with this product in my supply tank.  the main problem was with stubborn soiling as after the initial rinse you are just putting water into the carpet, but i imagine this is the same with ms.  so come on guys are ms really a major breakthrough in the industry or a fancy title made up to part us with our hard earned?

They really are different in the way they work - the situation you described ilustrates the effect of  this.

Once micro-splitters have done their job (pre-conditioning), multiple passes will remove soil whilst it is in the pile.

The extraction detergent is designed to rapidly capture soil at the spray/extract stage - once it is removed from the carpet it cannot continue to do this.

Before the advent of micro-splitters I often used a fresh-water rinse, but the soil had been treated by pre-conditioners designed for that purpose.

I too had exacly the same thoughts as yourself regarding microsplitters until this week.

I had a VERY grubby lounge diner to clean.

It was that grubby  I decided aginst the use of micro splitters and started usinga detergent pre spray on the first half. As the results were unacceptable on the first clean I recleaned agian, once agian pre spraying with the detergent pre spray. Thus cleaning the first half of the room twice. On the second clean the reults were acceptable.

On the second half I decided to go back to my microsplitter, just to see the comparison.

With just ONE PASS of the wand the half cleane dwith the M/S was cleaner than the half cleaned with conventional detergents cleaned twice !!!!!

Hi Shaun

You have to pay for any chemical on the market, if you look at how Micro splitters are both highly effective in a cleaning sense along with being probably the safest form of cleaning, and they are also extremely cost effective, if used correctly!! I think you will be  parting with LESS of your hard earned therefore making more profit. If you tried them
