The techniques for doing this type of work are surprisingly straight forward and are always included in courses for cleaners to learn how to do it. As you can see the results are very good and can be very lucrative.
Loss of colour on antique style leathers is something cleaners often come across as the original top coat is sometimes very unstable and can come off with normal leather cleaning solutions (even water in some cases), this can be quite worrying when it happens (especially for the customer!!!!) but as it is a relatively easy job to do (compared with some other repairs) it is a one that cleaning technicians can easily learn to do even if they do not do any other type of repair work.
