I'm sure there is supposed to be a screw going through the brush into the goose neck ;)

Hi Daniel,

That sounds strange! There is meant to be a screw thread on the end of your G-fit gooseneck that simply screws into the socket on the back of your brush. as shown below.

All I can imagine is that there is something missing. Give me a call on my mobile no. that I have emailed to you. I will try and work out what is wrong.

Do your brush head (plastic fitting I presume)??? gooseneck fittings have a good deep screw thread cut inside of them. If they don't you may need to re-cut the screw thread with a metal tool that has the same size screw thread to accomodate the plastic tapered cone which is glued onto the end of 'Gardiners' uniquely designed goosenecks. An alternative way is to fit the brush head onto the gooseneck and drill a hole through both and fit a small diameter, long reach bolt, nut and two washers to secure the two so that it doesn't come apart on you when you are using it.

If you buy a new brush head and try screwing it clockwise onto an adjustable angled  plastic tapered gooseneck it won't really cut a decent thread into the brush head fitting. You need to use a metal protection sleeve collar (which fits onto the top of some WFPoles) as a cutting tool for cutting a decent thread into your plastic brush head fitting. Then after you've done that, re-fit your brush head back onto your adjustable angled plastic tapered and you'll find that your brush head fits much tighter.
