Has anyone got any views with regards to bungalow roof cleaning using a flat surface cleaner on a pole ?
The reason I ask this is because I live in a bungalow and have seen quite a few of the neighbours have their roofs cleaned by hefty young men walking all over the roofs using lances to blast the moss away and then replacing odd tiles they cracked while doing the work, leaving the roof looking like a mosaic !
Surely it would be better to not walk on the roof at all ?
Mosmatic do a flat surface roof cleaner but it is quite large and requires you to stand at the apex and lower it down the roof, it does reduce mess and a lot of clean up time afterwards but I would still prefer to see a method of working from the ground.
I realise the there may be parts of a roof which might be difficult to reach with a pole but for those a cat ladder could be used (safely).
