Hi all

What are the main differences between the two if any.

I know there is a bit of a price difference.

But do they do exactly the same job ie regulate the flow of water to your command by the use a flow controll valve. ??

Basically they do exactly the same job, ie, regulating the flow rate of your pump.  The only difference is that the varistream will also switch your pump off if it senses an uncontrolled flow of water, ie, your hose-end pops off.

sorry friday night and ive had to deal with an 8 year old approaching 15 which i think i managed  it well first time ever

so iam out of managing things now, took up all my energy

it proberly doesnt, in my  professioal opinion ............ if it cleans, save waster prolongs life pump slows down use batterey  have a go .

What's the point of a product that only regulates the water flow but does not regulate the pressure?

I thought the whole idea of this electronic gadget was to bypass the pressure switch which seems to be a vulnerable component of the pump.

Ecoflow have recently advised on this forum that they will be adding this feature in the future.

The Varistraem works great for me.

yes eco flow will be adding this feature , but running it alongside the oringinal

the presure is avected by the eco flow at present and is reduced when the regulator is turned up and down .

which in turn will maintain a steady flow at whatever height and setting you put it at

the only reason i will be putting in the variable reaction  to decect   the rise and fall of the draw of current  is because of demand by those who use varistream and want a choice .

ive had no problems in eco flow for over two half years and neither have ionic with there control ours was bought out as a cheaper alternative  when we started up

Does the ecoflow switch off the pump when the pole is disconnected? 

Is it diode protected (to avoid destroying the internals if reverse polarised ie terminals connected wrong way round)??
