One for Derek Bolton

Derek and Ken nice to see you both yesterday and thanks for your tuition during the course of the day,im sure all like me found it a very worth while day.

One question I asked ( Derek) when he was handing around the swatches of Chenille was "what is Algodon?" this was on  the blend content on the label( think it said 60%).

You like me said that you have not heard of Algodon.

Sad but little things like this niggle me and give me sleepness nights unless I find out what they are.
I have a good bespoke Upholsterer  by me so I paid him a visit to ask him.

After a cheeky grin he told me that Algodon means cotton, he doesnt know which language it is but just knows thats its cotton.
So there you go the swatch that had  60 % algodon on it is 60 % cotton. ;)

Regards
Paul

Nice one Paul.

Should have realised that the old boy doesn't speak Spanish ;)

Safe and happy cleaning :)

Thanks Paul....

I am glad you enjoyed the day...as young Kenneth will no doubt agree I have trouble with English at times  ;)

I always say that on any course or technical day such as yesterday if I don't learn something then I am disappointed...Well yesterday thanks to you Paul I learned something  ;D
