Probably everyone will get one.
IONICS are using the Mag. to get everyone
to run to their Stand at the NEC.
Its just a sales catalogue.

Hey, if it's free; then who cares?

I'm not sure if I'm still paying for it or not though.  I don't think I am.

If I am, I'd be a bit cross, since it's full of Ionics advertising; how to pay for Ionics products and stuff.

The thing is, the 'features' are actually 'feature advertising', but unlike newspapers which clearly state 'advert', this magazine doesn't, which is fine if it's free; but I don't want to part with my 'ard-earned to be given a sales pitch.

Hi Alistair,

I'm sure B&Q do something similar. Or if that fails maybe Ionics could source one for you.

The people who post here seem okay even if they are pushy.

I was interested in Alex's supalite videos(of poles in use) but he never gave any indication even in broad terms of price.

Yes, I got my copy today.

Let's face it, and Philip Hanson will probably argue against this, but the PWC Mag has always been hand in hand with Ionics.

I personally would like to congratulate Mr Ionics ( Craig Molem, I think?) on 10 years of a very successfully company.

I met Mr Molem 2 or 3 years ago at the Fed show in Hinckley Leicester.  I was totaly lost and agog at all these Water Fed Pole systems and had only a tenner in my pocket :( :( :(

"You don't want to spend all that money on one of these do you?" he approached me.  "What about leasing one for around 40 quid a week?"
He got my attention!!!

I subsequently very nearly did lease a small van system and even now would not knock anyone who has.

But, for me, Ionics systems are far too expensive for my business and would not be justified cost.

Hi Curious

All the prices are found on the website.

http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/shop.html. Look under Water Fed Poles and Brushes, then Water Fed Poles and the fourth section down is Super-Lite Poles.  Within this section you will find the prices for complete Super-Lite Assemblies (ie SL-35).

Hi Dave

I'll leave a copy in the porch for you  ;)

i think it was said that Philip couldnt produce issue 2 or 3 ( cannot remmber which ) as he had money issues with the mag, then craig stepped in and finainced the whole thing, im sure that craig is the owner of the mag and philip just the editor

** i am sure some1 will correct me if i am wrong, and feel free to do so, as its only what i have heard on this very forum **

I got a copy this morning as well and I haven't ordered any NEC tickets or ever bought or enquired about anything from Ionics. That has to mean that somebody has either provided my details to PWC mag or they, PWC mag, harvested them from somewhere.

On page 18 in the Master & Servant picture the poles are on a rack does anybody know where I can buy them from, please dont say there patented by Ionics and they cost 2 grand each  ;)

Alistair

Telephone Ionics and ask to buy one of their Stainless steel W/F Pole racks as seen in the free Ionics sponsored copy of PWC.
