hello everyone,
I run a window cleaning biz and a pressure washing biz .  At the moment in between my normal work I am helping a friend do a spot of painting in a pub / hotel.  I can't help but notice how he has managed to get quite a bit of the paint on the carpets.  Not huge spills but dabs here and there and around skirting boards etc.
Now the pub owner has asked me to clean them for him, so my question is this. 
Do you carpet cleaning professionals have any special tips on how to remove paint.  Most of it is water based emulsion but there is a gloss splat here and there too.  IS it a case of using white spirit. 
Any help will be greatfully received.

Prochem Solvex will do the job but you need to be able to extract it out of the carpet afterwards. If you have a carpet cleaning machine (water extraction) then you just need to find your nearest Prochem supplier. Solvex is about £10 per litre but a litre goes a long way. Hope this helps.

Solvex works, but don't waste it on emulsion, it's for gloss paint and it does work, but might be hard to find.

I agree on small spots hot water works but on larger spillages I prefer to use Solvex. IMO time is money and if the solvex can speed up the process then the money is well spent.
