static system
« on: February 17, 2007, 10:55:01 am »
hi,
i have a system that makes pure water in the van. im thinking of bringing the 4040 ro into the garage and doing it there.  im just fed up with having to wait till my van fills up before i go to the local shop. is it just a case of unscrewing it from the system and putting it in the garage.

Basically yes, simply transfer your purification setup to your garage and connect to a static tank, don't forget to get a decent transfer pump so you can fill up your van tank though!

I run a static tank in my garage.  got a quick taransfer pump, fills my 400 litre tank in under 10 mins. and if i run out of water during the day i can pop back and fill it up again.
think its a great way of doing it as long as you live fairly near to your house.
On the other hand if you are at jobs for long periods of time and have access to there outside taps then its a case of letting it top up during the day.

It also helps if you work close to your house as well   ;D
