Solution Samples
« on: February 13, 2007, 09:29:11 pm »
Having bought the Chempec Hydro 1000 to 'play' with and being booked on the NCCA course for April, I thought I'd get some samples of solution from various companies to see what was good and what wasn't.

I e-mailed about 10 companies. Not sure what I was expecting really, but the results were:

- about 7 didn't reply at all
- Solutions UK said they'd send some
- Premier said they didn't send samples and then tried to send a rep round
- Express sent a whole box of Prochem samples and a catalogue along with a hand writen letter.

I suppose my point really is that I expected companies to be a bit keener. Okay, so they might have to give away a few freebies, but I could end up carpet cleaning for the next 35 years and I'll be buying the chemicals from someone! Perhaps they're all making too much money to bother.

Loads of good chems out there to use, just use up your samples when they arrive then go with the one you get on best with, every one has their own favourite, there is no best one as yet.
Its like whats your favourite car, some say Ford and some will swear by Vauxhall etc.

Good luck in your new venture.

This is exactly how i started out, in my opinion if someone was confident in thier products they would send out a small sample and wait for the orders to roll in, well all my business goes to the companies who sent out free samples even if i dont buy my chemicals from them i alsways check thier sites first for any  other items i need

Hi Owen,
I know exactly what you mean mate. The companies that send out free samples obviously have alot of confidence in their products full stop! Back along solutions sent me some free samples which was very generous of them have found there products very good and the customer service excellant.
A wanted a sample of m-power and nemisis so i could see which one i prefered and could put in a order for that product, anyway nick was more then happy to send out a free sample, but the other company wasn't no offense to them by the way cause i have used them in the past and are also a very good company but was a bit surprised that they would not send out a small free sample just for me to experiment so untill i recieve one i know where my confidence lies.
regards
matt

Matt - you're on the list to receive a free sample of the new Nemesis due later this month.  We sent out over 200 samples of Nemesis via Royal Mail and numerous samples were given to local c/c who visited our Showroom.  We extended our original 'limit' but felt we had to draw the line somewhere (even had a request from Spain!)  :)

We have always been upfront about our products, especially new ones.  While some people absolutely love the results they get from Nemesis on carpets, upholstery and rugs (especially fringes!), others can't get acceptable results on upholstery while others just can't get away with it full stop!  I doubt there will ever be a chemical that gets the thumbs up from every c/c.

We always request feedback on products and we look forward to receiving your opinion (good or bad!).
Cheers
John

Nice one cheers John much appreciated mate i look forward to it  :)
Matt
ps i understand what you say about some people not being able to get on with this and that most of the time its because people arent using the product correctly wrong dilution rates or whatever.
Thanks again

we didn't get a free sample!, we were happy to pay for it!, and without asking john he sent a free sample of nemesis odour neutraliser along with our order, £7.00 PLUS P&P IS NOT ALOT TO PAY FOR A 1 LITRE BOTTLE , IT GOES A LONG WAY.
m-power results, unfortunately were questionable, if you cant get good results with nemesis there is something wrong with you.............nothing in life is free, PAY YOUR MONEY, THEN MAKE YOUR CHOICE!
