WFP Backpack
« on: February 10, 2007, 07:04:41 pm »
Hello all,

I need to get hold of a couple of backbacks for some awkward work we're doing at the moment, anyone tried one of these backbacks for WFP? Look ok, and cheap, but can't find much info about the pump, £129.

Cheers,

Huw.

OK - I use a shurflo with 16/18 litres capacity and I reckon that will let me do one average 3 bed semi with two bay windows.

The one you are looking at is 10 litres so would probably do a bit more than half of one house (eg 4 windows and a door) before re-filling on a regular clean.

So, might be ok to carry through one terraced house to do the backs but no more.

For a first clean then 2 windows would mean you'd used all the water.

For the extra £60 I would go for a shurflo.

(I like the wheels tho'.)
It's a game of three halves!

cheers,

it will mostly be used for some cherry picker work and penthouse flat balconies, so I don't mind too much about water capacity, really wondering about the pump specs. getting fed up of using the manual pump up one we have!
