low mains water pressure

hi guys, as you can see i am new to this wonderful and informative forum.
i need some advice, i have an ionic pro 5 system, and was wondering what effect filling my tank with a low mains pressure would have ? the book says i should have a minimum of 45 psi, but i am running at 20 psi, is this going to effect the purity and the filters or is it just going to take longer to fill the tank ?
thanks
tony

yes, it will take longer to fill, and, over a period of time it will affect your filters. No panic though, gen up on booster pumps and get an appropriate one to get your pressure where it needs to be. Will probably cost you between £100 - £200 though.

thanks guys for your replies, so basically i need a booster pump, but at the moment i can fill at a low mains pressure, but will take longer to fill without immediately killing my filters, and not effecting the purity of the water ??

Filters...I doubt it will affect them.
Purity... Get your tds meter out and check
Have you tried opening up your water stop tap, 20psi seems awfully low to me

If your system is van mounted and you use a booster pump
becareful you dont flatten your battery.

My booster's mains electric, and my purity improved significantly as did my pure production. Money well spent.(my system is roman 300gpd).
