truck mounts in winter

do you truck mount owners have any problems in winter with the frost ie, frozen pipes etc any views would be
great

run anti freeze through sysyem or install a heat source in the van,or both

i use a oil filled rad,workes fine.

Just turn your inlet pump off drain the system and put a rad in the van, if they do freeze dont start untill thawed out or you will have a hefty repair bill

Oil filled rad in a smallish van is fine, plus the douvet, blanketts etc. Larger van probably require more powerful heaters.

Cant park near enough to house to connect a electric heater, so bought an ebersparcher diesel heater. Runs off the main fuel tank, and uses 0.1 litre /hour. Bit costly to purchase, but works really well. Also defrosts main windscreen, and warms cab up too.
