NO probs today with the good old Thermopure looks like I cleaned up today
with all you guys frozed up enjoy another day off tomorrow with the snow :
started at 8am finished at 430pm good day sorry guys but the hot water is good sometimes

I'll be out cleaning windows tomorrow whilst most of the country is covered in snow unless it's chucking it down with rain.  I'm on a roll at the moment, picking up loads of new work. I love this cold weather because all the other window cleaners stay home indoors keeping warm.

I've got the new Ikronik LavaFlow(tm) Superskorcher.

(Normally I'd be out working today but for some reason I'm typing here on my computer to help you guys out all from the goodness of my heart.)

It cost me £300,000 but look what you get I got:-

1 x LavaFlow(tm) logo (depicts a black volcano with red top spewing lava and superheated steam shaped into a mushroom cloud - this gets me loads of commercial contracts.)

1 x seismic survey to find underground magma-heated hot water at weak points in the Earth's crust.

1 x trailer/tank/drilling rig to tap into above wells at various points in your working area (bit like the bin cleaners do with fire-hydrants but a little deeper!)

1 x tonne of resin in a ****** great bottle for the water to force its way through under it's own pressure (so no unnecessary expenditure on a pump/varistream setup.)

1 x set of night-sight glasses and 100 million candlewatt lighthouse lamp (with lighthouse logo(tm) to get me more work) to enable me to work in the dark.

1 x reel of super-insulated microbore x 250metres

1 x set of pole stuff and brush thingies. (Each with logo to win me loads of work)

The system also has its own fan-blower which runs a off a radiator (to reduce the temperature to 50 degrees C.) which can be diverted to blow on the wall beneath the windows thus reducing run-off and subsequent freezing.

I'm seriously thinking of getting the extra add-on "Scoop 'n' throw"(tm) gritting trailer (with an automated shovel) to put rock-salt on paths.

If it's too hot - YES, but the trick is to make sure it's not too hot! More chance of cracking glass if it's old single glazed panes of glass (not double glazed). I choose appropiately suitable houses on extremely cold days like this week for example and ensure my water is warm (not hot or cold but somewhere between 25-40)

Im confused !!

I turned up at job this morning the van was like a giant ice cube, so off I trot to the motorbike shop across the road to get some hot water in a bucket to do the grounds. I wet up the first window and by the time I put the squegee on the glass it was iced over completely??

How can you clean them properly with the thermo pure, do the droplets left on the glass not freeze once you have gone?

if your doin trad way use screen wash, 50/50 or neat if really cold, i froze up this morning for 2 hrs so went trad with screenwash then back to wfp,

what are you al paying for thermopure, is it a fortune???

I suppose you need to work as much as you can so that you can pay for your good old Thermopure!

i would not imagne you puting warm water on frozen glass even at low temprature,
i would think you would put cold on first to defrost the glass, then use your system,

I just use warm to hot-ish water from the begining of the day 'til the end of the day. Never cracked any glass yet, touch wood! I cleaned a massive listed house last week and the glass is 150 years old so used 'tepid' water just to be on the safe side!!!!!

Surely the water freezes on the windows and then when it  hits the ground
