well...got out there at 10.30 or so and back in at 2pm. Did a few catch ups and it has turned out lovely. Nothing was frozen in my van at all by the way.

we've had sun all day, 1 dozen windows froze, rinsed with loads of pure water, rubbed hard,do you all stop if it snows

we usually carry on use screen wash trad way,tends not to freeze on,

Well, are you, Mr Steve K?  (You will have noticed I've stopped making fun out of the Scousers, for fear of retribution from you).

 

Anyway, it's been lovely here in South East Wales, (apart from the Welsh mind you).  It was a little bit 'chilly' first thing this morning, and I was worried that my water might freeze on the highstreet; and I didn't have salt with me; but then it turned quite sunny and I've spent most of today just wearing a t-shirt and a polo shirt.

I put anti freeze in bucket of water and carry on trad, seems to work o.k.

Yesterday, it was warmer where i am that i was working in a t-shirt nearly all day.
Not as warm today but managed the t-shirt till just after lunchtime.

It has started to drizzle now so expecting a frozen van tomorrow if the temp drops like they say it will.

  I was in peterboro today, started at 7am and the water was still freezing on the glass at 10am, my hoses and poles were ok as I have a heater in my van at night, so I just carried on regardless.
