I've skied in Avoriaz, quite a few years ago (about 20!) - what a cracking place, and no trees to hit either.

hi PDH,

We were in Morzine and boarded every day up Avorais. The first week there was no fresh snow and it was ok untill midday and then on the lower slopes it started to get slushy. It was starting to get a bit
bitty by last weekend and then we had two foot last Tuesday and it was 100% better.Started to get a bit icy when we left. Cool place though, a bit exspensive, brill for boarders....have FUN. by the way guiness is £5 a pint!

Paul.
