I met Simon a few years ago, down at Alltec. Say what you like, but the reason Robert Saunders got him involved with promoting the Fast Track, is because Simon made a big success of his business in a short space of time, even by his own admission that he probably wasnt the best CC. He was however one of the best at getting a high priced ticket.

he was supossed to have brought it over 4 years ago though, so i guess they was a bit more than 2k then

Saying that the first time i saw the add i did think the same thing, it would be more comforting if it was a 06 reg, Porsch jeep

Looks like a 911 SC, so pre 1987 but in good nick still 10 grand. As an office cleaner I had a 928 S4 up until last year - most people can own one, it's the running costs that made me give it up!

Hi

I think that whole point of it was to show that you can come from Zero to Hero in a short space of time with Fast Trak

In six months it would not be a new Porsche would it. Not even Gordon Gecco would do that from nothing.

It makes tha point but like everything else may not be the ideal thing to use today.

anyone can go from 0- £50.000 in  6mths, unfortunetly  it'll  cost £40,000 in marketing to do it!!

and this what wrong with these daft advertisements, as Robert Saunders says a plane uses the most fuel during take-off so in the beginning you need to spend A LOT on marketing to get going.

so you might earn fifty grand quick, but at what cost?

If you do go out and buy a new Porsche after six months, you may have learned how to make money, but you certainly haven't worked out how to make it work for you.

He would have been better off getting an Alpine GTA turbo anyway. ;D

Dont knock him regardless of the car.  He left a £35k job to start a business to make more.

How many of your made £35k last year?

You would think he could afford a decent website
instead of a Yell template  :-\

i have  known Simon for a few years- top guy - works when he wants to and he doesnt have to be a slave to the bank manager , so you could say he is a success at what he does ie not stressed out and rushing around like a headless chicken for not a lot of money

To say the word "porsche" is a misnomer too , I own outright a 17grand porsche, and at the same time drive a van that cost me £321 yes £321! off e-bay, and had been in the business 12 years before I could afford it. It is just what I choose, it would be quite easy to spend 17k on a van instead but  that was not my choice. work to live!

we can make fun of his website or his dream of owning a porche.

but we've got to remember we are talking about a real person who is a fellow carpet cleaner.

as long as he'd happy and providing for his family then he's a success, good luck to him.

Here, Here,
But you must admit, after spending so many grands on marketing, there's a serious week link.
