3x three stage motors
« on: July 26, 2004, 08:42:15 am »
If you link three 3 stage motors together buy how much is the performance increased buy over the conventional 2 x3 stage set up.

If you have a machine with a single two stage motor and the pick up only has to travel 2 feet do you get better pick up than if it has to travel 25 feet.

Thats my two posts for today

in both cases You've got to allow for friction within the vac hose. I use 3x3 and you can tell a noticable differance ( but I don't know how to measure it).

if a 2 stage has to pull  water over 2ft then it will  be OK because it will only be about 500mls but if you've got 25ft then that amount of solution line will hold 12lts so the small motor won't have the strengh to pull that amount through the hose ( amounts of solution has been estimamated)
