NEW BRODEX VAN MOUNT
« on: January 14, 2007, 05:22:54 pm »
Hello to all,
After 3 weeks with back-pack, had 'Brodex R/O 500' Van Mount installed last week. Apparently same machine as '250' but with additional tank connected.
Anyone else got one?
Can I flush membrane with tank not empty?
How long does flushing take?

Hi Andy,
Flushing section of manual is two sentences long, and does not address my questions. Of course, will ring Brodex tomorrow, but would have liked to flush this evening.
Cheers G.

To a point you can, I use to have the highflow system and I turned the waste value to fully open and this use to flush the ROs you will still have a small amount go to the tank thou

I was advised by Brodex to flush once a week for 30 mins, BUT please dont take my advice as law! you should always speak with you manufacturer and ref to your operational manual, as you have to be careful of your service warranty!

Thanks for reply,
Rang Patrick at Brodex today and got sorted.
Were you happy with your 'Hi-flow'?
Why do you not have it now?

Hi mate, good to hear you got sorted, Brodex are a good company.

I sold the high flow because I got my self a static system and just a tank in the Van
