Hello Everyone!
Hi I was just looking thorugh some trad gear on the window cleaning supplys websites and was looking at the Ettore Backflip & Unger Visa Versa and was wondering for all those people who use them regularly but not on a pole how do you transport it does it fit into a BOAB or not or is the a different way of carrying it? What do you do?

I have used both of them they do fit in your BOAB but its a bit awkward as you have the squeegee sticking out because the aplpicator is in the bucket. Also because the shape of the tool it takes a bit getting used to replacing  it after use

the back flip is really good when u use it on small low windows as the all in one tool

I used them since they first came out. I don't see the point in covering the glass twice, when you can do it in one single pass.
They will fit the old unger b,o,b, when in the single pass position.
The Wagtail is a far better tool though, half the weight and uses very little water.
The Wagtail uses a pad instead of an applicator.
With the Wagtail, I actually put a couple of cupfulls of solution in my B,O,B.
One bucket full can last a couple of days. I just rinse the pad under a tap occasionally. When you do the insides there is virtually no mess at all, they use that little water. On really dirty, or salt encrusted glass, you just go over it twice without lifting the blade off. The wagtail beats every other tool in speed trials.
Every shiner that have tried my Wagtail, wants one.
I have no connection with Wagtail, They are an Ausralian outfit. I am trying my best to get UK suppliers to take them seriously, It can be expensive to import them.
IF YOU CAN GET HOLD OF A WAGTAIL, GET ONE. YOU WILL NEVER LOOK BACK.

Before WFP, I used one of these.
A Squeegee Mate.  Simply a washer that fits on the front of your squeegee so you can wash and squeegee at the same time!

But you can't really scrub the pane with them can you? Like with an ordinary applicator? And I'm not to happy with the one pass cleaning, unless you do every house every month, I don't think it would work on the more dirty windows.

if the windows really dirty you might have to go over it a few times and use a scraper, but you would need to use a scraper anyway nowever you clean the windows if the've got birds muck on and hav'nt be clean for a while.

You can scrub the pane as much as you want, just tilt the handle back to lift the blade off the glass.

They are good.

I have vice versa. Best for large store front windows with pole work.

Especially if its sunny. You just flip it over before the water dries.
