Do you mean when you get bits of paint and muck in,  mine looks like its got dandruff some days ive tried using a comb on it, the neighbours must think im a bit mad.  We should ask jourk to invent some kind of afro comb to clean it out with or you could just leave it a bucket of cold water

Go to Poundland - the pet section has metal combs. great for cleaning brushes.

I rinse my under a tap on full and soak overnight in a bucket of pure water.

i smack my hand through the bristles as hard and  fast as possible.

i wait till mine dry's ( over the weekend )

then just brush it over my hand a few times

BUT

if you rinse with the brush off the glass, then its not really a problem imho
