Changing to reach and wash system
« on: January 11, 2007, 06:13:51 pm »
Im thinking of changing from traditional window cleaning, to a reach and wash system. Can anybody who has already changed over tell me if it is any quicker , and knowing what they know now would they bother. P S my rounds are domestic .

Yes its a lot lot quicker.

My round is domestic and I have beem wfp for over a year. 25yrs Trad.

Its a fantastic feeling starting to clean houses without haveing to go up and down a ladder all day.

On an average day I earn 50% more then when I was trad. If you times that over a year you are talking some serious lolly.

I was plagued by bad vibes when I was moveing from trad to wfp. Its a massive step. Was it worth it? For me yes. My only regret is that I did not do it 5 years ago. I did to much umming and arghing about it.

A freind of mine whos been cleaning a year longer then me said he would not change but he now as acsess to his sons wfp set up for 3 days a week. He used it two weeks ago on his first day useing wfp he did his work 2 hours faster. He wont be going back to trad and thats after 2 weeks.

nel.

been reach and washing for a month weaning it in gradually doing tops only and i dont think it will be any slower or faster cos im  very quick off a ladder. Some work it will be slower on and some it will be quicker on. Im hoping in time to save an hour a day to pay for the system and to allow for the extra work involved. if that happens i will be chuffed.

My work is domestic and if ive picked my work carefully to switch across. But now ive got to hit the work with the dreaded upvc windows!!

soon going into 8th year wfp

safer, faster ,easier on health and can earn more yet theres still a limit one can do.

takes a while to learn as anything, different aches and pains. and theres the maintence on the system

whether its diy or service provider i think its worth the effort

hi
i changed over from trad in august last year.
would not go back now. i am mainly domestic and used to work 5 hours a day. the first week or two were hell as i was getting used to working a different method. i now complete the 5 hours work in a little over 3.
this has allowed me to take on more work boosting my income.
i lost no time last week with all that wind.
its safer, faster and has given me back enthusiasum for my work.
everything changes and there will alway be people who do not like it but i lost no customers and as i said would not go back
