Altro floor re-seal.
«

Hi all.
I have just recently set up in business, doing commercial cleans, just offices at the moment, still taking things slowly.
I Have been asked to quote for the periodic strip and re-seal of an Altro floor and my question is, roughly how long should it take to carry out this task on an area of aprox 25 sq/m. Also would I use the same method and stripping/sealing products as on a vinyl floor.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Duncan.

Thanks Rob, this makes interesting reading.
The floor I have been asked to look at is in a test lab, dry enviroment, with almost no regular foot traffic, however the argument for Not polishing this type of flooring makes absolutley perfect sense.
I think I will need to talk to the client and persuade them to have it stripped and nutralised.
Thanks again
Duncan.

Altro are based in Letchworth and have a really friendly technical team.
They will send you all the bumpfh you need but basicly they don't recommend resealing their floors, scrub them with the cleaner they will send you and rinse off but don't reseal it.
Also don't go there expecting a shop to buy their products, they havent got one, you have to ring and order it.
I found out the hard way.
