does anybody know the legal stand point on renting of rounds.ie contracts,employment and liability.also how does the taxman look at it.does rule ir 35 apply.

I do not know the answer to your question but as it is not the first time You have posted it recently without reply I felt someone should.
Perhaps if you gave us some more info on your location type of rounds exactely what you wanted to do you may get more help.

I presume that its wheelie bin cleaning you are talking about from your name, your location doesn't matter a jot if you are in the UK.
The company you sub-contract to do the work will need their own insurances, and I'd guess you'd charge VAT on your invoice and would be liable for that part, the VAT they charge would be their liability. If neither company is VAT registered then no problem.
I could be wrong but this answer makes the most sense to me

If it is wheelie bin cleaning the company you sub to will require licence for carrying waste and licence for waste disposable as these are not transferable. In Scotland each operator will also require a street traders licence for every council area they operate in.
If you sub the work and they do not have these you may still be liable.
