bursting microbore
« on: January 05, 2007, 05:20:43 pm »
my microbore keeps springing leaks. i do have it across roads now and then but ive only had it 6 months and its about knackered. i never had any probs with the 1/2 inch non kink hose, with bursting anyway. which is best to convert to?

I ordered some minibore yesterday but don't know how it will last but a couple on here highly recommend it.

I use half inch tricloflex and its about 18 months old now and never failed and it never kinks.
But the downside is thats it heavy

I have minibore hose from cleantech and it's great! Never had any problem with it sprining leaks, but in places it's fairly worn from me pulling it around corners of houses. Just general wear and tear.

Its about 6 month old and I dont think it will see the year out but I could be wrong?

the 1/2 inch clear hose i used to use was virtually indestructable, but heavy. i may put it back on one reel. but ill have a think about the minibore. anyone else find it better

I have been useing my microbore hose for a year now, Its blebing in a lot of places but it does not leak.

I thought if it lasts a year I will be happy, Cars ,lorrys, vans and allsorts have run over it. So no complaints from me, it does kink now and then though.

yeah, I thought it was 65+VAT from cleantech.  Making it £11.75 more expensive than us.
