customers in Dec & Jan
« on: December 20, 2006, 01:14:06 pm »
Ive noticed, if anything, in this game...that this can be a quiet month, along with Jan...well...my stats show it year in year out, anyway...Where do you guys manage to pull them from this time of year?...I get the odd repeat customer from this era, however it would seem that not too many people go looking.
Obviously, it's xmas, and I dont wanna know your trade secrets...Any hint would be apreciated from ye olde school.
Dont say leaflets...It's too cold ;)

a lot of my work this time of year is commercial, pubs restaurants etc.although saying that this year has been a bit slower as landlords, managers etc are waiting for no smoking ban to take effect.have a fairly full calender for january though. :D

yes it is strange how some peoples work rate is the opp to anothers work rate  , in fact two of your poor months aug n sept are my best earners,   next year in my slow months i am setting my self up to do conser ext cleaning  with pure water and water fed pole using my carpet cleaning pumps also gutter cleans using pole and vacs

dec is always absolutley manic for us right up to chris eve ::)

jan is always a bit slow, so we offer free stainguard with every clean which tends to bring them out of the wood work.

feb is very slow but increases through march april and when we get to aug/sep we are flat out 8)

seems to be same way for us every year, always take a holiday in feb as is so quiet ;)

I am generally busy throughout the year with just a few lean weeks where I may have just 3 days booked except for the holidays I take.

Booked solid till xmas but taking tomorrow off for shopping.

BUT.... not one phone call this week for last minute jobs, which I find strange  :o
