Where do you get a figure of 13000 from, for only 2 pubs?????i take it they are 20 year contracts, each!!!!!!!!

Why would anyone want to pay 13K for 2 pub contacts at only 3.5 hrs a day if you cant get 2 pub contracts on contract you might as well quit.

sorry to be so blunt but there yougo

correct me if I am wrong but thats seems about right to me.......20000/365 (assuming it is an every day clean, well it is a pub after all) = £55 per day / 3.5 hrs = just under £15 per hour charge to client  ;)
anyone with facebook can add me at this link ...  jan 'minkeedj' kindon  .... if you can be bothered lol

There again, if the client has not written out a contract for the foreseeable future, then its not worth a bean, i.e. you could buy the contract and then the client could get someone else in!

Apologies if i have misunderstood.

Hang on a minute,

£20,000 divided by 2555 hours (asumming it 3.5 hours per pub per days) equals £7.83 per hour, or am I missing the point here!

OR

2 Pubs total hours 3.5 equals £15.66 per hour.  If you are paying cleaners for 3.5 hours per day at say £6.50 per hour (guesstimate for Gatwick) then that equates to approx £31.00 per day profit! About £11,315 per year profit, cor blimey, thats having the contract for more than a year before anyone would see profit.

Forgive me if I am wrong Peejay, but what is the profit on the job, how long would it take to get the £13,000 back?

you have a very valid point there Chris, i guess thems the breaks, then reading pdl's you would want to see a contract tied in for more than a year before breaking even on the original £13k spent on buying the contract, so yea is it really worth it  ;)

Peejay

Your email is hidden, so it's hard to contact you other than through this forum. I'd be interested in finding out more. I'm based in Three Bridges. I'll be abroad for a few weeks, but if you could either email me on support@a1cleaning.net or make your profile email public, then I'll be able to get hold of you on my return. Thanks.

gatwick pub business now sold,  i dont understand why there are so many massive egos on this forum, it is apalling that most of you are knockers in some way or other, and ver very negative,  you only want to seem to feed your own egos,  i can understand why the big boys are getting bigger, and the small ones getting smaller, good riddance to you all, but have a merry xmas all the same,
