Did a few jobs for them this year, not the greatest paid work by any means. But I needed the work at the time and was gratrful for it. Always paid me on time though ! However, I have not renewed my membership.

Jon

To save me going through all the T+Cs, can you give a quick rundown on how it works?

Do they price the job and sub it out, or do you give them your price.

Do they pay you after taking their cut, or do you send them a commission.

Is the customer yours for all time, or do you hand them back if you don't renew.

Thanks in advance if you're allowed to tell.

Wavie. Both, if they get the work in then they ask you to quote or if they have the work they say thats the price would you like it?

Thanks Andy,

How about the payment side of things and who "owns" the customer?

Come along man, pay attention!  ;)

They have the work so its def there work and they only pay when they get paid and as we all know commercial customers do take there time  :-\ I use to do a lot of work for ladderfree (10k a year) but as you know I have downsized my business because of a life changing situation and I am no longer a member

Andy
PS I would say laddersfree are very professional at what they do

You pay ladders free a membership fee it was a £100. Then you supply trade reference's and choose what 3 counties you are willing to cover.

They normally get two qoutes for the job, offer the contract to the lowest but charge the higher fee to the company.  This bit I was told buy someone who did work for them.

I was with them for 2 years, I did not even quote for 1 job. For me it was a waste of time
