squeegy overhang

Guys, just wondered when you cut down a squeegy blade, how much do you fellas leave on either side as i have been trying different ones and wondered what you found to be best.

About 2mm each side :)

I cut it to about 4mm I guess. Quite a lot.

The reason being:  When it gets a bit rounded and starts leaving lines, I get my scissors and snip off a few mm.

Bingo! A sharp edge for a few more days!
Obviously it doesn't work again on the 2nd side!

I always do this now. :)

I cheat i get rubbers that are the right size.  ;D
