Screwfix V Toolstation
« on: December 08, 2006, 07:40:18 am »
I know a lot of members use screwfix direct so thought I would post you this.

Screwfix was owned by  a guy called John Goddard-Watts who sold out his company to B&Q for millions,

After selling out to B&Q he became so board he financed his son's to start a new company called Toolstation, since they started they have been in direct competition with screwfix Direct.

Last night I was looking for a transfer pump and hose and looked at both sites this is the difference in prices, I know the item,s are slightly different but they are good enough for what we want.
screwfix pump £29:99 Toolstation pump £19:92
screwfix hose  £25:88 Toolstation hose  £14:30

These two company buildings are so close together they could throw stones at each other  ;D ;D

anyway check them out (not on a commission with them)
