The Business Interchange
« on: November 30, 2006, 03:12:18 pm »
Hi,
Does anybody else belong to The Business Interchange (TBI),and if so how well does it work for you?
Iv'e only just joined out of desparation because I just cannot get any work!
I understand that everybody in these groups from various businesses swap business cards and get work for each other...As I said, I can't even get work for myself so I don't know how I am expected to get work for people like antique clock repairers etc!
Any useful suggestions would be much appreciated.

My biz partner got one of our first jobs this way, so it does work, however its not for me. The early morning breakfast meeting and the stand up and give a speech on what you do thing to uninterested people is a bit iffy.

However as I said on that occasion it did work.

Actually, thinking about it, it was the BNI and not the TBI oops sorry, but I guess the principle is the same.
