Limescale build up
«

Any one had problems with heavy lime scale on baths, showers, etc.
I'v found that using using lime scale remover will remove some, but not all, unless scraped and scrubbed with much time involved.
Is there an easy solution?
Feed back much appreciated!

Hi
On very heavy limescale and to the point where it calcifies i have used Spirit of salts which is basically 32% hydrochloric acid. Wear a face mask and gloves ,goggles. It will froth immediatley, don't forget to
ventilate
this stuff STINKS!

Hi
You should be able to get it from your local hardware shop.
Trade suppliers tend to sell in larger amounts but hardware shops sell smaller bottles about £2.25.
Test a small area 1st.
I cannot stress how much this stuff stinks!
Open as many windows as possible, goggles, mask and gloves are essential (it is acid, 32%)
Keep us posted.
