Hi guys. Anybody had problems with varistream on/off buttons sticking?
If so whats the best bet. I have sprayed it with wd40 but it still sticks in at times. Nuisance more than anything as i have to push it a few times before i get it to turn on/off.

Keep it covered/dry overnight. Its condensation. I wrap my poor little Varistream button in fleece. It has been better since. I have a very wet van interior.
Keep your Varistream dry and warm. Great little invention though.

Just wrap it all around the box. Keeps the damp out, easy. Don't try so hard!

Buy a metal on/off rocker switch with 2 terminals at the back. Available at car accessory shops.
Place the new switch best placed for you to reach easily from van door.
Using similar gauge of red coloured wire attach 1 length of red wire to each of the 2 terminals at the back of the switch.
Of the 2 wires that exit the switch, attach 1 to the power source and 1 to the red wire that goes to the varistream.
The wire that comes from the pwer source can be protected by an inline fuse as an added safety.
Switch the varistream on and leave it alone.
You will now be able to control the on/off of the varisteam from the new switch.

I had the same problem a few weeks back...
I sprayed WD40 all around the side of the button at the front and then took the front casing off and soaked the back as well... I then left it overnight and its been as good as new since!

You bragging? Or don't you have use for the extra large ones?
The toggle switch works for me, I never touch the on off switsh on the Varistream. Dai
