steam cleaners
« on: June 13, 2004, 02:08:03 pm »
I have been doing some research into steam cleaners, portable to help with domestic cleaning. Live in hardwater area and tiles, etc suffer, especially when neglected by the owner. Any views out there, may not use them regulary, but for first cleans to remove build up. Seen a few mixed reviews, they work, but are messy and get hot and don't save you any more time than elbow grease. If you have any views and which one to go for would be much appreciated. I thought about hiring one to have a go first.

I spent about £400 last year on a steam cleaner, wish i had saved my money all in all.

Bit of a task setting up and the results are a bit mixed, funny enough it did a good job of cleaning ceramic tiles.

However, I was never trained on using it so I'm going to be watching out for comments too!!

I assume you are talking about a superheated dry steam cleaner that is used indoors?
