I've noticed a number of rounds for sale have appeared on the forum. They appear to be from a door knocker, I may be wrong but thats what it looks like.

I don't have any objection to people advertising their rounds for sale but I don't think this forum is the right place to do it. Also by allowing them you are giving an implied endorsement that the round is Kosher.

Many rounds that are offered for sale have never been worked and just come about as a result of someone going round compiling a list of addresses where people have expressed an interest.

Other rounds have not been worked for some time and many of the customer could have made new arrangements.

I would rather we kept it pure. If they want to sell their rounds let them do it on E-Bay.

Or perhaps should they not just be on the 'Used cleaning equipment wanted & for sale' section of this site?

Cheers
Dave.

Vince,

The mods both have busy lives too; and sometimes don't have time to cover each thread.

If you have a valid point, which you have, the report to mod button is the quickest way of alerting a mod.

The 'report' also goes to this sites Administrator, so even if the mods aren't around, there's an extra chance the admin will sort it out.

Regards,

Tosh.

What does it matter, canvassing company's are part of this industry many of us will and have used them, they can be quite handy.

You wouldnt be moaning if they were local, and you fancied a quick way to bump up your round. Infact I mite look at one myself ;D
