Valeters help needed
« on: October 19, 2006, 10:37:56 pm »
Hi,

I used t-cut on my van a few weeks ago and where I got some on the black plastic bumper of my vauxhall vivaro it turned white. I bought some back to black which covered it to a certain extent, but now after a few weeks it looks as bad as ever.

Any advice on a good product to re-blacken the bumpers and other plastic trim which will last.

Any help appreciated.

Kind regards,
Jason.

Pencil rubber.

This will generally remove the need to use any form of temporary solution like bumper dressing or paint, as it will generally remove the powder (which causes the white mark).

Thanks for the replies,

Gonna hunt through my daughters pencil case in the morning and try the pencil rubber first. Worth a try!

Thanks again.

Kind regards,
Jason.
