Hi

Truckmount handtools tend to be very expensive.

www.worldofclean.co.uk do some hand tools with a high pressure rating.

I used extracta hand tools for about 10 years and it's real hard going having to change to another hand tool after so long! but I use 3 different hand tools with the T/M which are the drimaster, prochem, and a 6" wide tool for pub and club seating, and I find I use all of them, but the only one with a clear window is the drimaster the only problem with it is you can't spray on and then follow up with a dry pass! good tool though but uses loads of water and yet leaves the upholstery dryer! The down side is the cost of having them all!personally if I could have only one I would go for the prochem as you can use it for awkward stair and bathroom carpets also.

Red,

Vernon Purcell mentioned in one of his posts he is now manufacturing a range of T/M tools maybe worth giving him a call you'll get the number off the Masterclean website.

How's the hide a hose knackered? I'll have a go at repairing it if you can send it.

Details in profile,

cheers,

Adam.

Pressure hose on these is fairly weak, but is easily replaced, Ive had one burst on me, using at just 135 psi and high heat.

hi red,

ive used tools with windows, when you switch to without window you get used to it, and realise you dont really need to see the waste water, i use this one, the steel internal spray one; http://www.alltec.co.uk/pages/67937

i use it at 200psi any more feels too much. also turn revs down or you have too much vac too.

Adam Young, Thanks for the offer im gona run it in to Woodbridge or Alltec today to try and get a repair if not il send it your way.
I think the problems somthing to do with the jet part, as im pulling the trigger and the water is just dribbling out ???

Carpetguy, Iv had the hose changed as i snagged it before, so its got a 300psi hose on it so im alright there but it looks like the jet cant take the pressure.

Mark, I got a tool of them but its a stainless steel internal, bit bulky for my liking makes stairs hard work.

Red,

Go to Altec to get it fixed.

I had a problem with my machine the other week, as I was near Harlow I went to Woodbridge, they fixed it OK. And it cost £25.00!!!!!!

It came undone the next day so as I was near Royston popped into see Chris he fixed it straight away even though he was busy.

A couple of nuts and bolts  How much?

A shrug of the shoulders and he walked away.

Now thats what I call service.
And it still works and hasn't come undone. Sorry Woodbridge wont be going to you again.

Thats rare to get anything cheaper at Alltec, there a good company but cheap isnt usually one of there strongpoints. They are great for service and repairs though.

Saying that they have both fixed things for me that have gone again the next day.

I would have said hello but i was in a rush and you were on the phone, still im sure we will bump heads there in the near future.

I'm delighted with my machine, no regrets whatsoever, dont know if its a coincidence, but I have had a huge amount of recomendations since I had the new TM.

I have so much work on now I would never have coped with my old machine.

What teething problems have you had?

Only silly things,
Hose wouldnt reach outside tap
Waste hose wouldnt reach drain
Running back and forth to van to turn of pump to change tools
Chem running out, chem meter set to high, struggling with the hoses ::)

Most of the probs are sorted now though, so looking forward to trying it out this week

You need a on/off tap at the wand/hand tool, then you wont need to run back to the machine.

You can get them anywhere and are easy to fit.
