Cleaning Specifications
« on: October 08, 2006, 04:24:08 pm »
Lot's of people on this forum, and others, are always looking for help in preparing quotations, so for what it's worth this is my take on this subject.

Cleaning Specification or Quotation

1. Forms the basis of the contract between the client and the contractor.
2. Defines the minimum acceptable standards to be attained.
3. Details the cleaning operations that need to be carried out and dictates   the frequencies with which they should be undertaken.
4. Specifies the areas to be cleaned.
5. Enables an accurate costing of the cleaning operation to be obtained.

This, in my opinion, is the basic standard for all contractors to achieve in order to present a professional image to our clients.
This "Cleaning Specification" or "Quotation" should contain at least all of the above elements, only by putting in this work, will we, as an industry, convince our client's that the industry is becoming more professional, perhaps, then, we will begin to overturn the image most client's have of our industry.

In a previous post "Terms & Conditions" I supplied a basic model to all who asked, that will enable anyone to make a start on point 1, is anybody else willing to share any further information ?

Regards,

Rob
