Just wondering if any of you guys put much effort into a company web site? do you get many enquires through it? I found that the higher end market (bigger houses) normally enquire quite a lot through our site and have gained some quality customers through it

I have a website and probably get about 2 email enquiries per month from it, now as for Yellow Pages FANTASIC!!
Is the website worth it? Not really sure about that but it does look professional

that was gonna be my next question about yellow pages. I always had a good response from my other company through yell and was thinking of trying to advertise quite heavily in the new edition which is due out in February i think. what yell is good for is hits on your website and getting it up on the searches on google and what not.

so you recommend yellow pages then? is it good for domestic or commercial clients?

mostly domestic with 1 or 2 commercial

when people need a service the 1st place they look is y/pages (don't you?) regardless of what people will try to sell you y/pages is the best

just wondered what kind of quantity were talking in terms of new customers. Never done it before as just wanted to concentrate on building in condensed areas, i suppose with YP it would be more spread out but if you get a few biggys must be worth it.

Try Google Adwords, and make sure you target your keywords.

I've used it before and it worked well.

i couldn't work that ad words out before, i ended up paying someone to do it, i never reached the results that i did just by paying to be on yell and eventually google and that picked up my website on the first page every time i searched.
