REACH

Hi All

Received a letter this morning telling me that REACH are unable to pay their debts and that they are now insolvent.Dont know if any of you do any work for themi.e T mobile,one stops etc but if you do dont do any more cos you may not be paid.I'm owed £180 by them and dont hold much hope.We live and learn.

They do a lot of work around here , A few big hotels , and quite a fewlarge  goverment buildings

I had one as well Owed about £100.
 This is the third one in two weeks for me
 
Swallow Hotels (still trading under the receivers)
 and a furniture shop (very large) went to collect a couple of days after clean and the store was Empty.

In total about £400 down.

As for the REACH letter I rang the accounts involved and they say that the letter was to inform people that the company needed time to pay its accounts and that they are not insolvent. (seems like cash flow problems) but it is up to the indervidual if they continue to do work.
Rang REACH direct and spoke to a temp (apparently the usual girl has gone back to collage ) not much info just took phone number and said I would be rang back

Its a pig when this happens!

I know its only my thought but it happens time and time again. Larger companys take on a large contract nationwide and use local window cleanners to do the job.

They have gone in cheap to get the job and wham cash fllow problems, whos the one that looses out?

You dont get rich digging other people's ditch's.

I have been asked to do several big jobs over the years and refused all, I want to be the one who calls the tune on payment.

I hope you all get your monnies as when you dont you feel cheated.

Why dont you approach the customer yourselves,
give them a price you are bound to be lower than Reach ???
