Hi.
You might be alright for small patio's but I wouldn't attempt a driveway -
You'd be there for days, really you want a petrol machine, you can get some good second hand equipment, but you have to be quick ringing up for it as it sells fast.
hope this as helped.

Get yourself a petrol machine. More lpm the better. You will look more professional than trying to do the job with a p/washer you can pick up from halfords.
If you can afford it a rotary surface cleaner will save you alot of time. Keep your eyes peeled on ebay or on the forum for a second hand whirlaway or simular.
Best of luck

Hi
Don't know about karcher machines but how can they say a surface cleaner fits most machines? Any nozzle (or set of nozzles as in a surface cleaner) has to be matched to the pressure AND the water flow of a particular machine.
When you buy any attatchment with a nozzle in it, then the first question out of the suppliers mouth should be " what's the pressure and litres/min of your power washer" so we can match them to your machine
IE 250 bar @15 litres/min power washer needs 2 of .02 nozzles fitted in a 2 jet whurlaway
Most diy type electric machines sold are about 8 or 9 litres a min this won't drive a whurlaway

hi . with the karcher there are three nozzle kits. that can be matched to your machine's flow rate and pressure. they cost about £14. i just found it was a cheaper option than the whirlaway that cost alot more.

You may find that one of the nozzle kits matches closely, but it is no substitute for having the correct nozzles fitted... you won't get the best out of your pump without the correct nozzles.
If 'near enough' is OK for you then it shouldn't be a problem.
Just want you to be aware of the possible shortcomings of a 'best match' set up.
Hope this helps

LISTEN TO DRIVE WASHER.
The correct size nozzle to fit your pump is invaluable..
Look into whirlaway. For £290 you can get a good whirlaway dont bother with a cheap imatation.
I have been running a p/washer business for the last 18 months. a good rotary surface cleaner will save you time and effort.
All the best withg your venture

I have a petrol p/washer 5.5 hp which is only a year old, and been used a dozen times max, and is a cracking piece of kit. I am looking to sell, as business has taken me on another route (carpet cleaning) and is only gathering dust in my garage.
If you are interested give me a call on 07917 876 744 or e-mail
