Live TV Ladder Fall
« on: October 02, 2006, 04:58:31 pm »
Browsing the internet last night and came across a very interesting new website for Window Cleaners, Called Window Cleaning Resources,.

while i was checking it out I came across a video section and in the section is a clip of a TV  Commercial from QVC demonstrating the Telescopic ladder, while the guy was up the ladder cleaning the window, he slips and falls of the ladder, and lands flat on his back.(OUCH!)

http://www.windowcleaningresources.co.uk/html/more....html

scroll down to the WC Related Video Clips and look for the one marked Live TV Ladder Fall.

have a look at the site, it is a good one.  (NO the site is nothing to do with me)
it contains loads of info for window cleaners.

Just noticed this thread.

I'm happy the site has been discovered, however it's not quite finished yet. If anyone has tried to use the forms they are not working yet.
Please send any correspondance to info@windowcleaningresources.co.uk

PS Thank you Jeff for bringing it to light. I like your forum too  ;)

Did anyone watch the 2 stroke window cleaning clip?  LOL!!!

That guy must earn a whole £15 pounds a day working at that pace!

I've got one of these, its real useful for backs of terrace houses, where tight spaces dont allow you to carry a normal ladder through, I've watched the clip several times, just dont get how he fell? it did'nt appear to slip, think he just missed his footing stepping down. Anyone else got one?
I think they are well handy

I think you're right, I think he missed the rung and went through the gap.

Maybe he was nervous being on telly.

Can't use water fed pole indoors though can you.
Maybe he should have used an extension pole?

I think it was that he was hurrying and was on tv, trying to show how quick and easy the ladder is to use plus the fact he tried to step down 2 rungs and not one.

Maybe?

Hi Cybersye
