Gatwick
« on: September 29, 2006, 07:05:28 pm »
Hi all.

Just back last night from beautiful Gatwick.

Anyway, while I was there I noticed nearly everywhere had filthy windows, the half dozen or so shops I asked in told me they couldn't get a wc'er.

If anyone lives near Gatwick they'd do well to get down there and canvass - loads and loads of work and they'd be willing to pay.

I'm in Crawley myself.  Do you meanwindows that are within the airport perimeter or windows in Horley maybe?  Within the perimeter it can bew a mare sorting out parking due to security etc.
Any chance of emailing me where you mean more specifically.please?  (  infoATscrim.co.uk  )  I'm looking to take more on at the moment.  If there is access I would probably be up for it.

All aircraft engines constantly thow out oil.

Airports and the buildings under the flightpaths are a nightmare to do.

I wouldn't go anywhere near this one.  Unless of course the pricing that would have to be put in to cover the time was worthwhile.

Hi Shiner

I'm talking about Horley and surrounding areas - also Ashford too as I was there on business for 2 days as well.

If you know the area then you'll know scarlett cars opposite the police station at Gatwick, try all along that street and the houses off either end, I only enquired in the shops, scarlett cars and the place next to it have a wcer but at the risk of offending anyone, he was very slow and didn't do a good job (I feel bad saying that).

Honestly there is so much work there to be had it wouldn't take an awful lot of canvassing to get a few days in there.

OK.  Thanks for the pointers.  Ashford is a bit far out for me (whether it be Ashford, Middx or Ashford, Kent)  but Gatwick is certainly in my remit.  I already do a fair bit in Crawley and Horley so adding some more on shouldn't be any problem.  I have most of next week off due to a gap in my work so I hope to be filling some of it.

Hey Guys

Check out your insurance policies I'm in Surrey. My insurance DOESN'T cover
me to work at either railway stations OR AIRPORTS. Anyone else's policy like this or just mine???? :'(

Hi,

All 3 bedroom semi detached, yuk, not my cup of tea. I have been cleaning long enough to be rather picky as to what type of property I clean. I tend not to have many properties under £20. I tend to go for detached period properties with charactor & some history which are plentyfull in Surrey.

Hey
if you lose a £20.00  house thats a big loss.
If you lose a £8.00 house its not to bad and you can clean a few in a row.
Although it is nice to clean a larger house with nice gardens.

there's absolutely loads of work there, just canvass it.  None of it is in the airport, I'm talking about the town of horley, gatwick etc
