Hi Guys,
Have any of you ever been contacted by a company called Crucial Media they harrass you into taking out a small ad in their so called Charity magazine thats supposed to go to all businesses in your sorrounding area yet no work comes back from it and they ammount you owed to start with suddenly changes when you receive the bill.
Also if you dont pay cause you feel youve been ripped off you recieve letters about court action and ccj etc..
Has any of you guys had any similar issues aith these or any other advertising companys which you may suggest i avoid.

Hi Sarah,

First question to ask in my opinion is if your publication is delivered to all business premises in the the area, how come I've never got one?

Seriously, though, we all have to advertise/market our services, so unless you have actually heard of the mag, I would steer clear, sounds like you have no option but to pay this time, as you agreed to the advertising, but learnt your lesson. there are many companies out there who specialise in this sort of thing, we get them all the time.

I get lots of calls from so called charities, but crucial does not ring a bell, although scams like this spring up overnight,  it does seem a bit far fetched that they would inform the authorities concerning how you are running your business , Any letters you receive concerning false accusation's (slander) photo copy and present to your solicitor.
