Hi

Can anybody advise me where I can purchase Caustic soda.

Hardware shop, ask for soda washing crystals.Use to be in a blue box the size of a small packet of washing powder.
Be careful, it does not come with CoSHH and used commercially it will require a DATA sheet.

What, if I may be so bold, do you require good old Soda crystal for? There are alternatives!

got to clean 2 ovens for a pub and wanted the Caustic to put in a tank to soak all the grills and trays. Any advice will be greatfully recieved as this is the first one I have done, Only accepted the job as a favor for a friend of a friend

Try Brillo degreaser in solution - far better than a caustic soak.
