wasted just to have their windows cleaned, especially in the middle of a drought!
I do hope you dont buy food or drinks from a super market or goto the pub as i think you would find that these people waste more water producing the things you eat and drink than i do washing windows.
Wasting water ? im on a meter so i pay for every single drop i use
as many customers are unhappy with wfp, from wet carpets and patios, spots and runs
Which people have you been talking to?
If a customer had old windows which could leak you wouldnt clean them with water fed poles thats down to how your trained and the knowledge you have.
Runs

?? how do you get runs from a water fed pole?

?? detergents cause runs do you get runs on your windows when it has rained? no because water fed poles use near enough exactlly the same type of water.
Spots from where

?operator error and not enough knowledge on how to use the equipment properlly.
And back to your drought excuse..... water fed poles are ok to use its an essential part of our business so they are ok to use.
Look again at h&s regarding working at height because if your using ladders only your breaking all the regulations going.
It STATES that on producing your risk assesment on a house, shop, pub whatever you are cleaning commercial or residential you Have to use another alternative before you use a ladder to clean thoses windows.
Dont come out with the excuse you dont want a water fed pole system because you dont like it with all these excuses because beleive me H&s wont wear that one.
My pole system was purchased through Tucker Poles who are also Aqua Factors a water treatment company who specialise in treating water ,how it responds after being treated so if they are selling these water fed poles they must know that they clean glass without all the excuses you have just put up on this thread.
i clean traditional but on old painted windows, ones with big gaps because the water will leak in.
