What's the best way to wash new grade 1 quality scrim before use answers much appreciated.

Boil them again and again.

Then use them for wiping the sills each day then wash untill all the dressing comes out.

all i do is mate wash em on the hottest wash on my machine with no powder or fabric softener! 90 degrees do this twice and they will be sweet. much easier than boiling 8)

You can buy the pre boild ones like I do,

But as glimmer man said do not add washing powder or softners with the wash,
Just chuck them in you machine and turn it on. if you add any powders you end up waterproofing your scrims, not only does it make your job harder, but it tends to leave smears on the windows.
